About
Hospitality Roots. Local Focus.
Dan Whitaker is a Cumming-based real estate professional with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties, serving buyers and sellers throughout Forsyth County, Lake Lanier and North Metro Atlanta.
Before entering real estate, Dan spent more than 30 years leading teams in upscale restaurants, resorts and hotels. That career taught him how to anticipate people’s needs, manage important details, solve problems calmly and provide exceptional service. He brings those same qualities to every real estate relationship, along with straightforward communication and a genuine commitment to helping clients make well-informed decisions.
As the founder of Forsyth Home Co., Dan helps people understand more than what is currently for sale. He provides insight into local neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, development, lifestyle and the factors that can influence a home’s long-term value. His studies in Digital Strategy and Audience Engagement at Arizona State University also strengthen his ability to market properties effectively and communicate their stories to today’s buyers.
Dan has lived and worked in North Metro Atlanta for nearly three decades and understands that every community has its own character. He believes trusted real estate guidance begins with listening, learning what matters most to each client and providing honest advice throughout the process.
Dan lives in Cumming with his wife, Bianca, and their Shih Tzu, Sawyer. Outside of real estate, he enjoys golf, photography, exploring local communities and discovering the people and places that make Forsyth County feel like home.
